Due to facilities management rules, time is a very sensitive factor, therefore, try to be at the field on time as scheduled. We will try to accommodate every one but, remember that the tournament rules and regulations are our guide to every situation we are addressing. Let all of us try and abide it. Tournament Rules and Regulations:
This tournament is adhered to general FIFA game rules with the exception and emphasis on the following:
- All games will start promptly ( on the stated times ). If a team fails to present a full team (8 minimum), at the start of their stated game, the game will be forfeited.
- Multiple changes are allowed. But a player cannot play in the same half after being substituted.
- A player cannot play for multiple states or teams.
- Discipline and sportsmanship is highly recommended to all players, coaches and supporters. The organizing committee is not going to take anything for granted. Therefore, disciplinary action such as indefinite suspension will be taken against any team that misbehave.
- All teams are advised to bring 2 sets of different color jerseys, if possible.
- Iron cleats are not allowed to be used by any player. This is part of the soccer complex’s rules. No exception.
We cannot stress the discipline enough, because of the many kids that will be present at the park. We are working with security personnel’s not to tolerate any violence what so ever during these games, let’s all come together and have fun.
FYI: Due to late withdrawal of one of the teams, we now have 13 teams. To avoid a scheduling nightmare, we have the (Atlanta Veterans Team) on standby. They will replace any team that fails to show up. However, if all 12 teams show up, we will randomly pick a group based on a ballot and add the (ATL Vets) to whatever group is drawn out of the ballot. Therefore, there is a possibility of a 4th team added to one of the groups.
